Well yet again it's been a while but in general things are going good. Anna is enjoying her job and is moving to a position with more responsibilty and more chance of a long term career and personal growth so fingers crossed for that. We have had good news that the LAHFA is staying till October so that is helpful.
I've been jetsetting around Oz, up to Darwin and Tom Price. The Darwin work was hard amd hot but fun in the Mangroves. Saw loads of stuff that stuff and learnt a lot that i never had reason to know to before. Some photos for those who are not sure what mangroves look like :P
The other weekend we went to a cuddly animal farm where Marcus made friends with a few goats and calf. Finley convinced Mummy and Marcus to go for a train ride and Finley hot legged it from the scene of a crash...
We also went to Amaze in the northern suburbs which was a lot of fun and letting Finley lead the way was an interesting experience. Scott of the Antarctic could learn a few things from him i'm sure!
Today, being close to mid-winter we decided as it was such a nice day to go for a walk on the beach and see what we could find on the shore. The boys had great fun picking things up, and of course Daddy got to carry most of it. I have new found respect and sympathy for my Dad when I did the same to him :p we found loads of cuttle fish bones, rams horn snail shells and even a lump of natural spong which we are trying to clean and de-salt and slime, so we'll see how that turns out.
Tomorrow we are off to an American Fair, so that should be.
